For me, it is important to support artisanal labour, irrespective of where they are located. I know that artisans are such an important component to the production of beautifully produced homewares, from ceramics to wooden furniture. All produced with care and expertise, sometimes carried down through generations to create an exquisite item.
My love of thrifting and discovering beautiful pieces with a story has naturally led me to work with talented artisans whose passion for craftsmanship brings history and creativity together. I believe every handmade piece carries a little of its maker’s heart, while every vintage treasure holds a story from the past. At Fisher’s Creek, I celebrate both - supporting artists and makers who create with care, while honouring the beauty and character of timeless pieces. Together, they create a collection that is unique, meaningful, and rich in history, inviting every visitor to discover something truly special.

Crafted with a natural linen base and soft charcoal stripe, this linen armchair blends classic style with relaxed elegance. The exposed mango wood frame and deconstructed sides add character and charm, making it a standout addition to any interior and living room.
RECYCLED HANDBLOWN GLASS LAMP BASE
We think this elegant lamp base is divine. It is crafted from recycled glass by skilled artisans in Rajasthan. The hammered effect is created by hand when the glass is molten giving a beautiful textured and imperfect finish. These unusual table lamps are hand blown by skilled artisans. Each of these glass table lamps has a timeless design which means they'll look elegant in any home. Pictured with a large sized Dia Jute Lampshade. Please note lighting does not include bulbs or lampshades.
HANDCRAFTED SCREEN
Against a backdrop of soft green cotton linen, this reimagined William Morris’ foliage and flora intertwine in shades of sage, earthy pinks and blue, over this elegantly crafted dressing screen.
Recalling the sophisticated interiors of the 1920s and 30s, the De Beauvoir screen is made from solid beech wood with brass studs. The construction is just as timeless - handcrafted in England using traditional methods, this is a piece that's built to last.
HANDWOVEN FABRIC CHAIRS
Distinguished and deeply inviting, the Regal chair is inspired by the stately proportions of traditional English seating. It lives up to its name with a quiet authority - felt the moment you see it. Its boxy form gives it structure, a sense of order, while the gently sculpted arms soften the look just enough to keep it feeling welcoming rather than formal.
Upholstered in our Moroccan fabric, handwoven by artisans in Marrakesh. Made of natural and bio cactus silk thread produced by the following process: fibres are collected from the aloe vera plant, spun, and woven. The thread is then dyed in beautiful shades, and hand loomed to make each piece wholly unique.
What is an artisan?
‘Artisan’ describes how something is made, not what it is made from.
An artisan product is generally one that:
Is made primarily by hand, or with significant hand craftsmanship.
Reflects the skill, judgement, and creativity of the maker.
Is produced in relatively small quantities rather than mass-manufactured.
Often uses quality materials and careful construction.
Has unique characteristics, rather than every piece being identical.
It doesn’t have to be:
Wooden.
Sculptural.
Rustic.
Traditional.
An artisan can work in wood, metal, ceramics, leather, textiles, paper, glass, or even mixed media.
